Now approaching its third full decade in existence, Beis Soroh Schenierer opened its doors in 1988. Upon the encouragement and guidance of the Manchester Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Yehuda Zev Segal זצ״ל, a committee of prominent askanim and rabbanim established BSS with the goal of providing an institution that would fully prepare girls for their future, both spiritually and practically.

Rabbi Yehuda Marmorstein serves as the seminary’s principal since it’s establishment in 1988.

B’chasdei Hashem, BSS has flourished and is now considered a premier establishment for high school graduates who are ready for intensive training in a one or two year programme, both in limudei kodesh and vocational skills.
